Guava is one of the most popular fruits. This fruit is grown everywhere in the country. Guava tree bears fruits in less time and does not require much space for cultivation.  Many people call guava 'poor man's apple'. The quality of guava is in no way inferior to that of apple. Apart from calcium, phosphorus, guava contains a lot of vitamin C, which is very necessary for the structure and growth of the human body. When ripe, guavas can be eaten both raw and ripe. Fresh ripe guavas can be used to make salads, puddings, etc. Guava is superior to apples and oranges in terms of other nutrients including vitamin C.
